One day I was born in a small seaside town and found a small piece of porcelain in the corner of the field. It is a part of Jomon pottery. I immediately made a pottery in one hand of the textbook of history. This is my first encounter with pottery. "Light and shadow", there are light and shadow. If there is light in anyone's life, there are shadows. But there is no darkness at all. There are many lighted exits. Even if there are obstacles on the way to the destination, if you move towards the light while overcoming one by one, you should be able to reach someday. The most difficult thing is to lose sight of the light that you should go in the dark. Even if the destination is closed, there must be a light exit that can reach you. It would be nice to be able to live without losing hope.
It became my production theme since the Great East Japan Earthquake struck on March 11, 2011.
